1. Kaziranga National Park: One amongst the oldest National Parks of Assam, the Kaziranga National
Park is spread across 430 sq km that is along the mighty river Brahmaputra. It
is very famous for tall Elephants and many more hidden animals in the shallows
of the tall grass. Some of the animals which you can spot here are Indian
Bason, Swamp Deer, Hog Deer, Leopard, Leopard Cat, Sloth Bear, Capped Langoor,
Hoolock Gibbon, Jungle Cat, Jackal, Heron Fishing Eagle, Ibis, Cormorants,
Egret and Hog Badger etc. During winters is the best time to be in Kaziranga as

over an area of about 60 sq km which is about 16 km away from the Nagaon town
the Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary is a home to a huge variety of wildlife some of
which include Rhinos, Tiger, Leopard, Bison, Wild Boar, Jackal, Sambar, Swamp
Deer, Black Deer, Langur and Wild Buffalo etc. It is a home to migratory as
