Safety tips for old age while travelling

Problem while travelling is packing and it becomes worst when it comes to old people who seem to carry an unwanted risk while they travel across.

As Richard Bailey and his wife Suzie Wallach are about to take a trip to Europe which would be a six week tour and it cruises to Italy shares their experience she said she is not aware whether there would a doctor on call or not but I need not to worry because a safety tips spelled by their general physician, Dr. Lou Cohen of Lerner-Cohen in Sarasota has helped them a lot to make their trip comfortable one.

He advised to make sure whether there is a doctor on board or not as most of the cruise do avail such facility make sure you have notify a cruise director about your special diet.
He further advised to take a precaution because it’s a long adventure trip awareness could act as a savior of life.

Dr. Cohen suggested carrying a prescription and medicine for Diabetes, heart and allergy and advised to carry enough for both to tackle any emergencies during a long tour.

Bailey asked to pick a good ship and good package for a better journey.
Even so, Dr. Cohen suggests you take some familiar over the counter medications with you.
Although food is not a problem in Italy however it is advised to take a safer heated food and further remember not to drink a tap water because water could be contaminated in various countries that mean you have to avoid veggies and fruits that get washed in water and it’s a strict no to Ice cube and salads.
What is most important before you travel is a casual check up in order to ensure happy journey and remember to follow every instruction he puts forward to you.


It’s always better to plan before you leave so that everything could come in a box safety and its better to wear a medical id and bracelet if you have it.
